Amy Winehouse

Amy Winehouse died this weekend. Her fans, myself included, are moarning her passing. At the same time though many other are rushing to social networking sites to condemn her as "just a junkie" and even said the world would be "better off without her"

I'm really shocked by these comments, maybe I'm being naive but shouldn't we at least respect the friends and family of someone who hasn't even been dead 24 hours?

What I'm also finding hard to compute are the people saying that her death isn't as important as those that have died in Norway. A death is a death in my opinion and on the whole they are all tragic, no matter how they happen.

I know death is a senstive subject and people react in different ways to it, but I'm still shocked.
